Air Conditioning Technician

About the role

Operate, maintain and repair all heating, ventilation and air‑conditioning equipment for the hotel, including central heating plants using steam or hot water. Provide excellent customer service to ensure a comfortable environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Perform service, repair and replacement of gas furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, electric furnaces and duct‑less split systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, testing each system after work to confirm proper operation.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on HVACR units and inspect customer systems to prevent future problems.
• Install components such as compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, air filters, switches and gauges, and connect copper lines for refrigerant and chilled water.
• Conduct leak testing, use vacuum pumps to evacuate systems and recharge with refrigerant according to regulations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, manage tools, stock levels and adhere to safety policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to complete tasks and ensure proper documentation of services performed.

Required profile

• Sound knowledge of HVACR systems and a relevant certificate or diploma.
• Ability to work independently with a proactive problem‑solving approach.
• Energetic, dynamic personality and willingness to perform additional tasks as assigned.
• Commitment to confidentiality regarding resort, guest and operational information.
• Understanding of basic health and safety requirements in the field.
