Front Desk Supervisor

About the role

Constance Lemuria on Praslin Island is looking for a professional Front Desk Supervisor to lead the front desk team and ensure outstanding guest experiences. You will oversee daily check‑in and check‑out operations, manage staff schedules and act as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, train and mentor front desk associates, providing performance feedback.
• Manage all front desk activities including guest arrivals, departures, room assignments and cash handling.
• Address guest questions, concerns and complaints promptly and courteously.
• Coordinate reservations and communicate special requests with other departments.
• Maintain front desk appearance, organization and compliance with hotel standards.
• Prepare and analyse reports on occupancy, revenue and staff performance.
• Schedule staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak and off‑peak periods.
• Utilise the property management system and reservation software for bookings and guest profiles.
• Enforce hotel policies while fostering a welcoming environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in front desk or guest services within hospitality.
• Previous supervisory or team‑lead experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Property Management System (PMS) and hotel reservation software.
• Competency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organisational and multitasking capabilities.
