About the role

Amentum is looking for a Home Delivery Driver to support a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role involves operating government‑owned or contractor‑provided vehicles to deliver goods to residential and other designated locations while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Operate vehicles safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
• Deliver goods according to established schedules, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload items using proper techniques to prevent damage.
• Maintain delivery records, mileage logs, and complete required vehicle inspections.
• Report any mechanical issues promptly for repair.
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers, addressing inquiries as needed.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license meeting local DMV or foreign equivalency requirements.
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) when operating vehicles larger than a pick‑up truck.
• Strong time‑management skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and defensive driving techniques.
