Quantity Surveyor – Interior Fit-Out & Large Hotel Projects (Seychelles)

About the role

Our client, a leading construction and interior fit‑out firm in the Seychelles, is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support prestigious hospitality and mixed‑use developments. The role focuses on large‑scale interior construction, fit‑out works and high‑end commercial projects, and requires relocation to the islands.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quantity take‑offs, measurements and cost estimates.
• Develop project budgets, cost plans and financial forecasts.
• Produce Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and tender documentation.
• Manage tendering processes and evaluate subcontractor quotations.
• Draft and administer subcontract agreements and contracts.
• Monitor project costs, prepare regular cost reports and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Handle procurement, supplier and subcontractor selection.
• Submit monthly valuations, payment applications and certificates.
• Assess variations, contractual claims and change orders.
• Attend site meetings, progress reviews and client coordination sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Construction Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of Quantity Surveying experience in the construction industry.
• Proven experience on large hospitality, hotel, resort, luxury residential or interior fit‑out projects.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement, cost control and project administration.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with industry‑standard Quantity Surveying software.
• Proficiency with project management software.
