About the role

The Spa Therapist delivers professional, personalised, and high‑quality spa and wellness treatments to guests in line with AVANI+ standards. The role creates a relaxing and memorable experience through expert treatment techniques, attentive service, and a warm, welcoming approach.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly, conduct consultations and tailor treatments to individual needs while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Perform a range of spa services—including massages, facials, body scrubs, wraps and other wellness treatments—within the therapist’s qualifications.
• Prepare, maintain and sanitise treatment rooms, ensuring proper ambience, hygiene, and stocked supplies for each appointment.
• Explain treatments, product benefits and after‑care recommendations clearly, and suggest additional services or retail products when appropriate.
• Record treatment details, coordinate with the Spa Receptionist, and support smooth daily spa operations.

Required profile

• Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and professional conduct at all times.
• Demonstrate strong customer‑service orientation, discretion and the ability to build positive guest relationships.

Required skills

• Proficiency in massage therapy techniques.
• Competence in facial and body treatment procedures.
• Knowledge of spa treatment products and retail range.
