Engineering Coordinator

About the role

Constance Ephelia, a luxury resort on Mahé, Seychelles, is looking for a highly organised Engineering Coordinator. You will act as the central point for engineering projects, technical documentation and day‑to‑day facility operations, supporting a multicultural team in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering projects across the resort, liaising with internal departments and external contractors.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation for all engineering systems and equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
• Monitor project progress, identify issues and propose corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and sustainability standards.
• Prepare and track engineering budgets, seeking cost‑saving opportunities.
• Assist in procurement of equipment and materials.
• Organise training sessions for staff on new equipment and procedures.
• Serve as the primary contact for engineering‑related queries from other departments.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in engineering coordination or a similar role.
• Experience in hospitality or resort engineering is highly desirable.
• Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) is advantageous.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer‑aided design (CAD) software.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Project management techniques and tools.
