Chief Storekeeper (M/F)

About the role

The Chief Storekeeper is responsible for the overall management, security and organization of all storeroom areas within the resort. This role ensures that inventory is stored under optimal conditions, that stock levels are maintained, and that the inventory system is updated daily.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee maximum security of all storeroom areas and prevent unauthorized access.
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure perishable and non‑perishable items are stored at correct temperature, humidity and hygiene standards.
• Inspect incoming materials, verify quantities against purchase orders and report any discrepancies.
• Store received items in designated locations and process requisitions with proper approval signatures.
• Update the inventory system daily with issued items and monitor par‑stock levels.
• Place orders when stock falls below minimum levels and recommend optimal par‑stock quantities.
• Inform relevant departments about slow‑moving or expiring items and prepare monthly consumption and spoilage reports.
• Participate in monthly physical stock counts, investigate variances and support month‑end stock reconciliation.

Required profile

• Responsible for all store areas within the resort and ensures daily inventory updates.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict hygiene and safety procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Effective communication with Purchasing, Finance and department heads.
