Guest Relations Officer – Multilingual (Italian/German)

About the role

Constance Ephelia, a luxury resort on Mahé, Seychelles, is looking for a multilingual Guest Relations Officer to be the primary point of contact for international guests. The role focuses on delivering exceptional service, handling enquiries, and ensuring memorable stays for guests speaking Italian, German, French, Arabic, Russian and English.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests, providing information about resort facilities and local attractions.
• Act as liaison between multilingual guests and resort departments, ensuring smooth communication and swift resolution of requests.
• Address guest concerns and complaints with empathy, implementing appropriate solutions.
• Maintain detailed guest profiles to personalize future interactions.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, F&B, activities and maintenance teams to fulfil guest requests promptly.
• Handle guest relations enquiries via telephone, email and in‑person interactions.
• Assist with special requests, event arrangements and bespoke experiences, recording details in the property management system.

Required profile

• Fluent in Italian, German and English; additional language skills in French, Arabic or Russian are a plus.
• Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or related field.
• Proven experience in guest relations or hospitality, preferably in a luxury resort or hotel.
• Strong interpersonal, problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management systems.
• Experience using booking platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
