Hostess – Russian Speaking

About the role

Raffles Seychelles is seeking a bilingual Hostess fluent in Russian and English to welcome guests at its Food & Beverage outlets. The role involves managing reservations, guiding guests to their tables, and ensuring a smooth flow of service while delivering the brand’s signature hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and manage seating arrangements.
• Handle telephone bookings and maintain an organized reservations book.
• Assist with table set‑up, displays, and ensure the hostess station and menus are clean and orderly.
• Maintain and update the guest database, and address guest complaints or incidents, reporting to the supervisor.
• Present checks, perform cashiering duties when required, and control guest flow for optimal turnover.
• Translate menus from English to Russian and keep menu updates current.
• Support other F&B outlets during peak periods and train wait‑staff and bus‑staff on hostess standards.
• Participate in inventory checks and ensure the restaurant is ready for service each day.

Required profile

• Excellent reading, writing and speaking proficiency in both English and Russian.
• Well‑presented, professionally groomed and able to build rapport with guests.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant seating plans and basic computer skills.
