About the role

The Spa Therapist delivers professional, personalised spa and wellness treatments to guests at Avani Barbarons Seychelles Resort, ensuring a relaxing and memorable experience. The role blends excellent treatment techniques with attentive service, while upholding the brand’s high standards of hygiene and guest privacy.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly, conduct consultations and recommend suitable treatments.
• Perform a range of spa services including massages, facials, body scrubs, wraps and other wellness treatments within your qualifications.
• Prepare, maintain and sanitise treatment rooms, ensuring proper ambience, stock levels and equipment functionality.
• Follow all health, safety and hygiene protocols, reporting any incidents or maintenance issues promptly.
• Provide clear after‑care advice, recommend retail products and support departmental sales targets.
• Coordinate with the Spa Receptionist and colleagues to ensure timely appointments and accurate treatment records.

• Professional appearance, grooming and adherence to hotel standards.
• Strong commitment to guest confidentiality and discretion.
• Team‑oriented attitude with the ability to assist colleagues during busy periods.

Required skills

• Massage therapy techniques.
• Facial and body treatment skills (scrubs, wraps, etc.).
• Knowledge of spa products and retail range.
