Naturalist Guide & Dive Guide

About the role

Aqua Expeditions is seeking a passionate Naturalist Guide and Dive Guide to join its luxury expedition team in the Seychelles. You will combine expert marine diving knowledge with engaging natural‑history interpretation to deliver unforgettable experiences for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all scuba diving and snorkeling activities, ensuring safety briefings, site assessments and adherence to dive protocols.
• Inspect, maintain and manage diving and snorkeling gear, keeping equipment in safe, regulatory‑compliant condition.
• Provide expert interpretation of marine and terrestrial environments, including coral reefs, fish species, flora, fauna and local culture.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑dive presentations, natural‑history briefings and daily excursion schedules.
• Lead shore‑based excursions such as hikes, paddle‑boarding, beach walks and other water‑based activities.
• Maintain accurate logbooks for dive activities, guest certifications and equipment checks.

Required profile

• Certified Dive Master with proven experience leading scuba and snorkeling tours.
• Strong knowledge of Seychelles marine and terrestrial ecosystems.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work safely in a team environment and respond to emergencies.
