Senior Rust Engineer – High‑Performance Trading Systems

About the role

Keyrock is looking for a Senior Rust Engineer to join its Capital Markets division. You will own and evolve mission‑critical, low‑latency trading infrastructure that powers market‑making, options, and high‑frequency trading across more than 80 exchanges. The role is fully remote and open to candidates in European time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimise low‑latency trading systems written in Rust.
• Own end‑to‑end components of the trading stack, from architecture through production operation.
• Collaborate with quant analysts, traders, and other engineers to improve performance and resilience.
• Maintain and evolve infrastructure with a focus on stability, observability, and operational excellence.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues related to exchange connectivity, execution, and market‑data handling.
• Drive engineering standards through code reviews, technical leadership, and mentoring.
• Leverage AI‑assisted workflows and automate operational tasks to enhance team productivity.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and operating mission‑critical trading systems.
• Strong background in low‑latency, high‑throughput software development.
• Ability to work independently and influence technical direction in a remote, global team.
• Passion for the Rust ecosystem and continuous learning.
