Steward – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Steward will support the resort’s food‑and‑beverage operations by ensuring all dishware, utensils and kitchen equipment are cleaned, sanitized and ready for service. Working in a luxury environment, the role demands strict adherence to Four Seasons brand standards and health‑safety protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Operate dishwashing machines and follow cleaning procedures for all kitchenware.
• Clean, disinfect and arrange utensils, glassware, china, cutlery and chafing dishes on shelves.
• Sanitize specialized equipment such as meat slicers, ice machines and vegetable rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, walls, ceilings, hood filters and air‑conditioning vents.
• Prepare and stock chemicals and cleaning supplies needed for daily service.
• Support banquet and event setups by ensuring all equipment is ready.
• Perform floor sweeping and mopping as required.
• Participate in fire, safety and evacuation training and comply with all hygiene policies.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, luxury hospitality setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency in operating commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitising kitchen appliances and surfaces.
• Understanding of chemical handling and safety procedures.
