System Administrator

About the role

Intelvision Seychelles Ltd is seeking a full‑time System Administrator to join its IT team in Victoria. The role focuses on maintaining and monitoring servers, operating systems and core infrastructure to ensure stable, secure services for TV and internet customers.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor physical and virtual servers, applying updates, patches and security hardening.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and access controls across the environment.
• Perform regular backups, verify recovery procedures and maintain documentation.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software incidents, escalating when necessary.
• Collaborate with network and support teams to optimise availability of customer‑facing services.
• Implement and enforce security best practices and monitoring tools.
• Support business‑critical applications and contribute to continuous improvement of system performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in system administration within an ISP or telecommunications environment (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong understanding of operating system configuration and server lifecycle management.
• Ability to work on‑site, communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams and follow documented processes.
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are an advantage.
