Experienced Carpenter – Construction Projects

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our construction team. The role involves both rough and finished carpentry, working from blueprints, specifications, or verbal instructions to build, remodel, maintain, and repair a variety of structures.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and layout work from blueprints, drawings, models, or verbal instructions using hand tools, portable power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Perform shop calculations, select appropriate materials, and prepare detailed project reports for the LCC Project Manager.
• Construct, remodel, retrofit, and repair structures made of wood, drywall, plaster, concrete, or brick, including cabinets, tables, shelves, partitions, flooring, doors, and windows.
• Ensure workplace safety, comply with Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance standards, and oversee subcontractors for code compliance.
• Assess cost, time, and material requirements, maintain tools and equipment, and train or direct other staff as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum five (5) years of experience as a carpenter.
• State license or certification, or equivalent education and experience.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and communication skills.
• Cross‑cultural awareness and basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word and Excel).
