Guest Service Agent

About the role

As a Guest Service Agent at Constance Lemuria, you will be the first point of contact for guests arriving on Praslin Island, delivering a warm and personalized welcome that reflects the resort’s luxury standards. You will manage the entire front‑desk experience, from check‑in to check‑out, ensuring each stay is seamless and memorable.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and provide a tailored welcome.
• Handle check‑in and check‑out procedures with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Provide information on hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
• Liaise with housekeeping, food & beverage, and other departments to coordinate guest requests.
• Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally and empathetically.
• Process payments and manage reservations using the hotel’s management software.
• Maintain a clean, organized front‑desk and lobby area.
• Update guest profiles and logs for personalized service.
• Escort VIP guests and ensure their preferences are recorded and met.
• Stay informed about local events and attractions to offer concierge‑level assistance.

Required profile

• NC3 in Front Office or a comparable qualification in hospitality or customer service.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a guest‑facing role within a hotel or resort.
• Fluent in English and French, both spoken and written; Mandarin is a plus.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• Team‑oriented, flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities.
• Knowledge of Seychelles attractions and culture is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel management software for reservations and payments.
