Guest Service Agent – Mandarin

About the role

The Guest Service Agent – Mandarin will handle all aspects of guest service to maximise satisfaction for Mandarin‑speaking guests at Raffles Seychelles. This role involves coordinating with multiple departments, managing guest profiles and ensuring a seamless, personalised experience from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of guest requests, coordinate with Concierge, Butler, Housekeeping and other departments to fulfil special needs and excursions.
• Promote inter‑hotel sales, seasonal packages and loyalty programmes, and upsell onward bookings to other Raffles properties.
• Handle guest complaints, follow up on corrective actions and maintain detailed guest feedback records.
• Prepare pre‑arrival communications, update VIP profiles, and ensure rooms are inspected and amenities ordered prior to arrival.
• Greet guests on arrival, conduct check‑in, provide resort introductions and ensure a positive departure experience.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication in English and preferably Mandarin.
• Ability to develop rapport with colleagues and management, work cohesively in a team and remain calm and courteous.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment and at least 2 years in Front Office or Guest Relations in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel.
