Guest Relations Officer – Italian & German Speakers

About the role

Constance Ephelia, a luxury resort on Mahé Island, Seychelles, is looking for a Guest Relations Officer who speaks fluent Italian and German. You will be the primary point of contact for Italian‑ and German‑speaking guests, ensuring their stay is seamless, memorable, and exceeds expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome Italian‑ and German‑speaking guests, providing detailed information about resort facilities, services, and local attractions.
• Act as the liaison between guests and resort departments, ensuring swift communication and resolution of requests.
• Handle guest concerns and complaints with empathy, implementing appropriate solutions.
• Maintain detailed guest profiles to personalize future interactions.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, F&B, activities, and maintenance teams to fulfil guest requests promptly.
• Manage enquiries via telephone, email, and in‑person with courtesy and efficiency.
• Assist with special requests, event arrangements, and bespoke experiences, recording details in the property management system.

Required profile

• Fluent written and spoken Italian and German; strong English proficiency.
• Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or a related hospitality field.
• Proven experience in guest relations or customer service within a resort or luxury hotel environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, cultural awareness, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

• Experience using booking platforms.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
