Risk Management, Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

About the role

The Financial Services Authority is seeking a Risk Management, Monitoring & Evaluation Officer to strengthen its risk management framework. The role will support the integration of risk concepts into planning, identify emerging risks, and help design mitigation strategies across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in establishing and maintaining a credible risk management process.
• Monitor and evaluate the application of risk in decision‑making and recommend improvements.
• Support strategic planning by reviewing and evaluating the Authority’s Strategic Plan.
• Conduct ongoing risk assessments with business leads to identify regulatory and non‑regulatory risks.
• Develop and implement mitigation plans to minimise adverse impacts.
• Assist in assessing risks to financial stability in non‑bank financial services.
• Maintain and update the risk register.
• Participate in organisation‑wide training and awareness sessions on risk management.

Required profile

• Degree in economics, business administration, finance or risk management.
• Professional certification such as IRM (e.g., IRM Certified).
• Experience with risk quantitative techniques and analysis of business metrics is an advantage.
• Ability to formulate key risk and performance indicators.
