Spa Manager (Ayurveda Expert)

About the role

Six Senses Zil Pasyon is looking for a Spa Manager who is an expert in Ayurveda. The manager takes full responsibility for the efficient operation of the spa, its treatments, exercise classes and wellness facilities, and for driving sales and revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Keep up with industry trends and update knowledge and skills to improve the product and service offering.
• Continuously focus on the rejuvenation of the spa experience and assess treatments, exercise classes and wellness facilities against Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.
• Market and promote the spa to guests, improving projected revenue targets and promotional initiatives to drive sales of products, programmes and treatments.
• Provide consultation, specialised treatments and prescribe programmes, medicines and products when required.
• Achieve individual and group sales targets and promote upselling of treatments, products, packages, special promotions and the Visiting Experts calendar.
• Maintain Six Senses service and operational standards, performance benchmarks and LQA standards, and respond to guest comments.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years' experience in luxury spas and health clubs with proven references.
• A hospitality diploma or degree from a recognised hospitality school is preferred.
• Ideally a degree or certification in a health-related field such as medicine, Ayurveda, physiotherapy, fitness and nutrition, naturopathy, homeopathy, anatomy and physiology, or broad knowledge of anatomy, physiology and massage therapy.
• Fluent English; additional languages are preferred.
