Supervision Officer – Capital Markets & Investment Scheme

About the role

The Financial Services Authority is seeking a Supervision Officer to support the Capital Markets and Collective Investment Scheme Supervision Section. The role involves evaluating authorisations, conducting sectoral supervision and ensuring effective oversight of regulated persons and activities.

Key responsibilities

• Process and evaluate applications, providing risk‑based recommendations in line with legislation and service standards.
• Conduct on‑site inspections and off‑site reviews, advising on regulatory enforcement actions or risk‑mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate liaison with applicants, their agents and relevant local or international authorities.
• Assist in market research to enhance the regulatory standing of the industry and jurisdiction.
• Supervise and monitor regulated persons and activities under the Section’s remit.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Law or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Post‑graduate certificate/diploma in a relevant discipline is acceptable.
• Professional qualifications such as CISI, ICA Diploma or ACCA are recognised.
• Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
