Storekeeper - Luxury Resort

About the role

Six Senses Zil Pasyon is looking for a Storekeeper to take full responsibility for the efficient operation of its stores and loading docks. The role covers stock control, receiving deliveries, keeping items in good condition and maintaining Six Senses service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to daily operating problems and complaints and offer solutions, documenting all store issues according to resort policy.
• Keep all stores and loading docks tidy and clean.
• Check minimum stock levels daily and prepare purchase requests for the relevant Head of Department to avoid shortages.
• Ensure all stored items are ready for use, free from expiry dates and spoilage, and inform the Cost Controller of any spoiled or expired items.
• Maintain up-to-date bin cards or meat tags on all store items.
• Handle deliveries to the appropriate hotel departments, including loading and unloading carts and placing goods in the right storerooms.
• Put away orders promptly and efficiently.
• Uphold Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation, maintain performance benchmarks and adhere strictly to LQA standards and guest comments.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent in Finance/Purchasing and Supply, with at least 1 year of experience in storekeeping or a similar setting.
• Hospitality diploma or degree from a recognised hospitality school is preferred.
• Proven results in a similar role in a luxury hotel.
• Fluent English; additional languages are preferred.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Office and Outlook.
• Materials Control (MC).
