Cluster Director of Finance

About the role

The Cluster Director of Finance is responsible for overall financial leadership, control, and performance of Avani+ Barbarons Seychelles and Anantara Maia Seychelles Villas. This role provides strategic financial direction to both properties while ensuring strong financial governance, effective internal controls, regulatory compliance, and accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership and act as a trusted business partner to the Cluster General Manager and executive teams.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and business planning for both resorts, monitoring performance against targets.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and management accounts.
• Maintain robust internal controls, oversee audits, and ensure compliance with company policies and Seychelles legislation.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity, optimizing collections and supplier payments.
• Partner with Revenue Management and Commercial teams to maximize total resort profitability.

Required profile

• Commercially minded finance leader with experience in luxury resort or hospitality environments.
• Proven ability to balance rigorous financial discipline with the operational realities of high‑value guest experiences.
• Strong partnership skills, working closely with General Managers, department heads, and corporate finance teams.
