Director of Food & Beverage

About the role

Cheval Blanc Seychelles is seeking a seasoned Director of Food & Beverage to lead the launch of its luxury resort’s dining and beverage operations. Reporting to the Resident Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences across multiple restaurants, bars, banquets, catering, and in‑room dining.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all Food & Beverage outlets, including five distinct dining concepts and beach club.
• Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and cost controls.
• Ensure high standards of service, quality, and hygiene across all venues.
• Lead, train, and motivate a multidisciplinary team of chefs, managers, and service staff.
• Coordinate with other departments to create seamless guest experiences.
• Analyse financial performance and implement strategic improvements.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in Hospitality Management, Food Service Management, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years in a senior Food & Beverage leadership role within a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant, bar, banquet, catering, and in‑room dining operations.
• Proven ability to develop and manage budgets and interpret financial data.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Flexibility to work varied hours in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
