Front Office - Guest Service Agent

About the role

Six Senses Zil Pasyon is hiring a Guest Service Agent for its front office. The agent is responsible for the efficient operation of the front desk, from welcoming guests and handling check-in to managing cash, reconciling transactions and keeping department records accurate.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests on arrival, handle check-in and registration efficiently and suggest upselling where appropriate
• Ensure guest billing is handled correctly, collect keys, minimise rebates at checkout and bid guests farewell
• Maintain a balanced bank, make changes, cash checks and exchange foreign currency
• Reconcile all transactions at the end of each shift
• Prepare and submit operational reports on time and keep department equipment clean and in good working order
• Follow Six Senses service standards, LQA standards and guest feedback, and maintain performance benchmarks

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience in a similar hotel operational setting
• Hospitality diploma or degree from a recognised hospitality school is preferred
• Fluent English; additional languages are preferred

Required skills

• MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Familiarity with hotel systems such as POS, PMS and CRM platforms
