IT Coordinator

About the role

Constance Ephelia, a luxury resort on the island of Mahé in Seychelles, is looking for a highly organised and efficient IT Coordinator. The role coordinates IT projects, provides first-line technical support and keeps the resort's IT infrastructure running smoothly, working with colleagues across all departments.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage IT projects from start to finish, keeping them on time and within budget
• Provide first-line technical support to staff and guests, troubleshooting hardware, software and connectivity issues
• Maintain and update IT documentation such as system configurations, network diagrams and asset inventories
• Monitor IT systems and infrastructure, spotting problems early and proposing solutions
• Help implement cybersecurity best practices and comply with data protection regulations
• Run staff induction and training on new IT systems, software and procedures
• Manage IT ticketing systems, prioritise requests and track resolution times
• Support technology initiatives that improve operational efficiency and guest experience
• Act as the IT contact for all departments and keep accurate records of IT expenditure

Required profile

• 3-5 years of experience in IT coordination, technical support or a similar role
• Experience in a hospitality or resort environment is highly desirable
• Ability to work in a multicultural team and to handle variable hours, including weekends and holidays
• IT-related certification (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Associate) is advantageous; project management certification is desirable

• Advanced Microsoft Office and IT ticketing systems
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, hardware, networks and operating systems
• IT asset and software licence management, cybersecurity basics and data protection principles
• Strong communication, problem-solving and organisational skills
