Photocopier Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Photocopier Technician to join Amentum’s US Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role involves ensuring photocopy equipment remains operational and ready for mission‑critical tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, cleaning, preventive maintenance and functional testing of photocopy machines.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and repair equipment to restore operational readiness.
• Replace worn components such as gears, rollers, belts and electronic circuits.
• Maintain inventories of consumables (toner, cleaning materials) and replacement parts.
• Document all service activities, parts replacements and maintenance actions.
• Respond promptly to service requests, troubleshoot issues and minimize equipment downtime.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules across multiple locations.
• Ensure equipment meets cleanliness, performance and safety standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience inspecting, maintaining and repairing photocopiers or similar office equipment.
• Valid passport with minimum one‑year validity and ability to obtain required visas and facility credentials.
• Ability to pass contract medical requirements and comply with deployment health standards.
• Proficiency in English (reading, speaking, comprehension).
