Recreational & Dive Center Manager

About the role

The Recreational & Dive Center Manager leads all land‑based and marine guest activities at a luxury resort in Seychelles, delivering safe, memorable and personalized experiences that reflect the barefoot‑luxury ethos.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the dive and activity centres, including snorkeling, SCUBA diving, fishing, kayaking, paddle‑boarding, surfing, forest walks, cycling and sunset cruises.
• Lead, train and schedule a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high service standards and compliance with marine and environmental regulations.
• Maintain equipment, conduct risk assessments, manage inventory and uphold safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the Environment Centre to align activities with conservation goals and with Guest Experience and F&B teams to design bespoke itineraries.
• Handle guest briefings, record‑keeping, vendor coordination and continuous improvement of the activity offering.

Required profile

• Strong leadership and team‑management experience in recreational or dive operations.
• Proven background in water‑sports management with knowledge of snorkeling, SCUBA, boating and marine safety.
• Excellent guest service skills and ability to create high‑end, personalized programs.
• Organisational and administrative competence, including scheduling, budgeting and reporting.
• Understanding of environmental conservation and sustainable tourism, preferably in marine or island settings.
• Fluent English (additional languages a plus) and experience living or working in remote resort environments.
