Security Officer

About the role

The Security Officer ensures a safe and welcoming environment for guests, staff, and visitors at Four Seasons Resort Seychelles. This full‑time position combines proactive patrols, emergency response, and guest service in a luxury island setting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain departmental logbooks, records and prepare accurate reports.
• Monitor and operate CCTV and fire‑alarm systems, responding promptly to incidents.
• Patrol interior and exterior resort premises, addressing threats or suspicious activity.
• Inspect, test and maintain fire‑extinguishers, first‑aid kits, emergency lighting and other safety equipment.
• Control guest, staff and visitor movements, manage vehicle access, shuttle services and traffic flow.
• Oversee deliveries, fuel unloading and technical checks of power stations and water tanks.
• Enforce access‑control policies, including bag checks, pass issuance and key management.
• Assist staff with incidents such as thefts, accidents or disorderly conduct and welcome guests at the main gate when required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hospitality security or law enforcement.
• Strong knowledge of fire, life and safety procedures.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to stay calm and act decisively in emergency situations.
• Attention to detail and discretion when handling confidential information.
