Security Supervisor (Local Talent)

About the role

Six Senses Zil Pasyon is looking for a local-talent Security Supervisor to take full responsibility for the efficient operation of security across the resort. The postholder assists the Safety/Security Manager and coordinates the resort's security activities.

Key responsibilities

• Control, coordinate and participate in the activities of all personnel securing resort property, guests and hosts, following the Safety/Security Manager's instructions.
• Conduct security patrols within and around the resort.
• Coordinate the activities of uniformed outsourced guards and check their performance.
• Represent the Safety/Security Manager on shift when handling emergencies in line with resort policy.
• Work closely with engineering, reception, food and beverage and housekeeping to ensure guest safety and security.
• Review end-of-shift security reports for accuracy and completeness, and inform the manager of any incidents.
• Recommend improvements to the Safety/Security Manager and uphold Six Senses service and operational standards, including LQA standards and guest feedback.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years' experience in a similar hotel operational setting.
• Proven results in a similar role in a luxury hotel.
• Fluent English; additional languages are preferred.
• Legal right to work in Seychelles at the time of application.

Required skills

• MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Familiarity with various security systems.
• Updated First Aid, CPR and defibrillator certification.
