Security Officer

About the role

The Security Officer will ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and property at the Four Seasons Resort Seychelles. This full‑time position requires vigilance, professionalism, and the ability to respond quickly to emergencies while delivering the brand’s high‑service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain departmental logbooks, records, and prepare accurate reports.
• Monitor and operate CCTV and fire alarm systems, responding promptly to incidents.
• Participate in fire drills and emergency procedures to ensure readiness.
• Safeguard guest confidentiality, follow room access protocols, and assist with VIP services.
• Patrol resort premises, both interior and exterior, and respond to any threats or suspicious activities.
• Identify, report, and coordinate the removal of safety or fire hazards.
• Inspect and maintain fire and safety equipment including extinguishers, first aid kits, and emergency lighting.
• Control guest, staff, and visitor movements within the resort in accordance with established procedures.
• Supervise vehicle access, staff shuttle services, and traffic control, ensuring safety standards are met.
• Oversee deliveries, fuel unloading, and technical checks of power stations and water tanks.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hospitality security or law enforcement.
• Strong knowledge of fire, life, and safety procedures.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations.
• Attention to detail and discretion when dealing with guests and confidential information.
