Site Architect (Hotel Project)

About the role

Evo-Build is looking for an experienced Site Architect to lead the construction of a new hotel on Praslin, Seychelles. The role involves overseeing on‑site architectural work, ensuring compliance with design intent, and acting as the main liaison between the local contractor and the overseas architect office.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise architectural works on site to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and design intent.
• Review and respond to RFIs, RFAs, material submissions, shop drawings, and technical queries.
• Liaise closely with the overseas architect office for design clarifications, technical advice, and approvals.
• Coordinate drawings from structural, MEP, interior design, landscape, and other consultants.
• Attend site, technical, and client meetings and follow up on action items.
• Work with the contractor and consultants to resolve technical and site issues.
• Monitor construction quality, identify non‑conformances, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Prepare regular progress and site reports for the main Architect.
• Assist with inspections, snagging, practical completion, and project handover.
• Represent the Main Architect professionally throughout the construction phase.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of site experience, preferably on hospitality projects.
• Strong technical, coordination, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently while maintaining close coordination with the Main Architect.
