Tailor (Seamstress)

About the role

Six Senses Zil Pasyon is looking for a Tailor (Seamstress) to take full responsibility for the efficient operation of its tailoring work. The role covers making and repairing guest uniforms, guest room upholstery, curtains and blinds, and responding promptly to guest requests.

Key responsibilities

• Make host uniforms, mend or repair them as needed, and make guest room upholstery, curtains and blinds as directed by the Laundry Manager.
• Respond to guest requests and handle issues and feedback related to the manager, delivering repairs promptly.
• Maintain a high standard of hygiene and sanitation throughout all areas.
• Uphold Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation, keeping performance benchmarks and exceeding them.
• Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years' experience in a similar hotel operational setting.
• Fluent English; additional languages are preferred.
• Prior professional experience in Seychelles is preferred, with a strong understanding of the local operating environment.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of laundry operations and linen handling.
• Tailoring skills and procedures.
