Training Manager

About the role

Six Senses Zil Pasyon is looking for a Training Manager to lead the training and development strategy, manage its implementation and measure its impact. The role is responsible for running the training department efficiently so that staff receive exceptional products and services training within brand operating standards, and for designing new programmes or improving existing ones according to the property's needs.

Key responsibilities

• Align the training department with business goals and evaluate performance to make sure training meets business needs.
• Develop and deliver training programmes, including classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences and workshops.
• Plan, organise and test in-house courses, and create training manuals, multimedia visual aids and other educational materials.
• Arrange training for trainees from local and overseas hotel schools, keep training records up to date and share information on external courses with hosts.
• Work with the Corporate Office on training programmes and help schedule events, activities and team gatherings.
• Focus on talent development, run orientation sessions and on-the-job training for new hires, and instill a cost-focused approach.
• Keep the property compliant with legal, statutory, financial, security and safety requirements and product and service standards.

Required profile

• Some college plus 3 years of related training experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field and more than five years in a similar training or operations role (preferred).
• Fluent English; additional languages are preferred.
