Laundry Supervisor

About the role

The Laundry Supervisor (Housekeeping Supervisor) ensures that guest villas and public areas meet Raffles’ high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service. Reporting to the Housekeeping & Laundry Manager, you will lead a team to deliver consistent, luxury‑level housekeeping across the property.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule all housekeeping and laundry tasks for arrival and occupied villas.
• Inspect rooms and bathrooms to ensure compliance with LQA and brand standards.
• Maintain villa amenities, supplies, and pantry inventories daily.
• Report and follow up on landscaping, maintenance, and any damage using the PMS system.
• Conduct regular training sessions and daily briefings for staff.
• Ensure timely delivery of laundry according to the laundry list.
• Perform daily room checks, update room status, and manage vacant, out‑of‑service, and out‑of‑order rooms.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and floor reports in clean, functional condition.

Required profile

• Strong reading, writing and oral proficiency in English.
• Professional appearance and grooming at all times.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Property Management System (PMS) for reporting and tracking.
