Electrician

About the role

The Electrician will ensure the efficient operation, maintenance and repair of all electrical systems and equipment across the Raffles Seychelles hotel and its associated facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Install, alter, maintain and repair high‑ and low‑voltage wiring, air‑distribution systems, pumps, transformers, motors and related appliances.
• Interpret electrical plans, draw circuit diagrams and design functional circuitry for hotel systems.
• Locate, diagnose and correct faults in electrical equipment, switchboards and instrumentation.
• Maintain generator fuel records, monitor power distribution data and respond to power interruptions.
• Ensure water‑plant operation, record water usage and perform daily tank level checks.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on all plant equipment and act as shift operator when required.
• Adhere to company safety guidelines, keep work areas clean and manage tools, stock and materials responsibly.
• Collaborate with other departments, work flexible hours and respond to emergencies such as fire or environmental hazards.
