About the role
We are seeking a visionary Executive Chef to lead the culinary operations on Waldorf Astoria Seychelles’ private Platte Island. The role involves overseeing three signature restaurants and a variety of private dining experiences, delivering memorable, personalized meals to an international clientele in a remote, luxury setting.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and inspire a team of culinary professionals to achieve the highest standards of food quality and service.
- Develop and execute innovative, seasonally‑driven menus that reflect the resort’s luxury brand and local ingredients.
- Manage all kitchen operations, including inventory control, budgeting, procurement and staff scheduling.
- Ensure strict compliance with hygiene, food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Collaborate with other resort departments to create seamless guest experiences and special events.
Required profile
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef in top‑tier luxury resorts or hotels.
- Strong leadership and team‑development abilities.
- Excellent organizational, logistical and time‑management skills.
- Passion for home‑grown, handcrafted cuisine and the ability to adapt to island resources.
