Executive Housekeeper

About the role

The Executive Housekeeper leads all housekeeping operations at Six Senses Zil Pasyon, a luxury private‑island resort in Seychelles. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures that guest villas, residences, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces meet the resort’s exacting standards of cleanliness, presentation and comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee housekeeping and laundry teams across 30 villas, three residences and all public areas.
• Plan and assign daily tasks, create schedules and monitor performance to guarantee consistent service quality.
• Collaborate with other departments to fulfil guest requests, arrival preparations, turn‑down services and special amenity setups.
• Maintain health, safety, hygiene and sustainability standards throughout all areas.
• Train, coach and develop staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to luxury standards.
• Manage inventory, equipment and linen supplies, implementing efficient procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven housekeeping and laundry management experience in upscale or luxury hospitality.
• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Advanced organisational skills for scheduling, inventory control and multitasking.
• Experience in training and leading housekeeping personnel.
• Knowledge of health, safety, hygiene and environmental standards with a sustainability focus.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Seychelles, including weekends and holidays.
• Relevant hospitality qualifications (diploma or degree) are an advantage.
