Exterior Yacht Cleaner

About the role

Join The Moorings and Sunsail as an Exterior Yacht Cleaner and help create the unforgettable first impression that guests expect when they step aboard a charter yacht. You will work on a variety of vessels, ensuring the exterior surfaces are spotless and presentable to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a full exterior clean from bridge deck to engine bays, including rinsing, soap washing and chamois drying.
• Scrub and buff yacht exteriors daily, clean shower curtains, rails, external cushions and bilges.
• Detail lockers (gas, anchor, water), rims and edges, as well as the helm station, winch handles and cup holders.
• Clean rubbing strakes and exhaust outlets, ensuring they are spotless.
• Report any defects to the technical manager and apply cleaning chemicals safely.
• Suggest improvements to cleaning techniques and support other departments as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a cleaning role is desirable.
• Comfortable moving around yachts and working at height.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high‑quality results.
• Self‑motivated, reliable and able to work within set timelines.
• Team‑oriented with a willingness to assist colleagues.

• Safe handling and application of cleaning chemicals.
