Front Desk Supervisor

About the role

Constance Lemuria, a luxury resort on Praslin Island in Seychelles, is looking for a professional, customer-focused Front Desk Supervisor to lead its front desk operations. You will oversee daily front desk activities, manage a team of front desk associates and ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes while upholding high standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor front desk staff, giving guidance, training and performance feedback
• Manage check-ins, check-outs and room assignments with organized workflows
• Resolve guest inquiries, concerns and complaints promptly and professionally
• Oversee reservations and coordinate with other departments so guest information and special requests are accurate
• Maintain the front desk's appearance and adherence to hotel standards and procedures
• Prepare and review reports on occupancy, revenue and staff performance
• Schedule staff, manage shifts and cover peak and off-peak periods
• Use property management systems and reservation software to manage bookings and guest profiles
• Enforce hotel policies and collaborate with management to improve guest satisfaction
• Handle cash management, payments and financial reconciliation accurately

Required profile

• Proven experience in front desk operations or guest services in hospitality
• Demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience
• Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
• Organized, able to multitask, with problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
• Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Fluent English; additional languages preferred
• Able to stand for long periods and perform front desk duties
