Guest Experience Maker (GEM)

About the role

Six Senses Zil Pasyon is looking for a Guest Experience Maker (GEM) who will take full responsibility for the efficient operation of guest reception and welcome services at the resort. The role covers preparing guests for arrival, coordinating transfers, arranging activities and upselling resort facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Check guest profiles and history before arrival and notify the relevant departments so they have the guests' preferences ready.
• Coordinate transfer requests and escort guests to and from the hotel if needed.
• Prepare arrival amenities such as welcome letters, champagne, shoe bags, cold towels and welcome drinks, and offer them on arrival.
• Recommend, plan, schedule and arrange guests' preferred activities during their stay.
• Upsell resort, spa, LIFE and restaurant facilities.
• Keep department equipment clean and in good working condition, uphold Six Senses service standards and LQA standards, and maintain performance benchmarks.
• Know fire and safety procedures and exits.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience in a similar hotel operational setting.
• Hospitality diploma or degree from a recognised hospitality school is preferred.
• Fluent English; Arabic, German or Chinese is preferred.

Required skills

• MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Familiarity with hotel systems such as POS, PMS and CRM platforms.
• Excellent knowledge of guest-related functions and guest service.
