Part-Time Director - Brokerage

About the role

A part-time Director is sought for a brokerage company in Seychelles. The role provides strategic oversight and governance, ensuring compliance with Seychelles financial regulations and supporting the Board in guiding the management team on operational and strategic decisions. It is a hybrid position of about 5-10 hours per week, or as required for board meetings and strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the brokerage business
• Ensure the company complies with Seychelles financial and regulatory requirements
• Participate in board meetings and key management decisions
• Oversee company performance, risk management and corporate governance
• Support the development of business strategies and partnerships
• Review financial reports and operational performance
• Advise management on regulatory and market developments

Required profile

• Experience in the Financial Services, Brokerage, Banking or Investment sector is a must
• University degree in Business, Finance, Law or a relevant degree
• Previous experience as a Director, Senior Manager, Advisor or a similar role is preferred
