Production Planning Officer

About the role

The Production Planning Officer will join our Seychelles‑based manufacturing team to develop and maintain accurate production plans, schedules and forecasts. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures customer orders are fulfilled on time while optimizing the use of resources across the operation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, update and communicate production plans, schedules and forecasts.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, production and quality teams to align material availability, capacity and timelines.
• Monitor daily production progress, analyse data and identify delays or bottlenecks.
• Recommend and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
• Maintain accurate records in planning systems or spreadsheets.
• Prepare regular performance reports for management.
• Support continuous improvement of planning processes and workflows.

Required profile

• Strong planning, organizing and time‑management abilities.
• Solid analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration across multiple departments.
• Problem‑solving mindset to identify and resolve production issues.
• Understanding of basic production, inventory and supply‑chain concepts; manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or related field preferred.
• Ability to work on‑site in Seychelles and adapt to changing priorities under pressure.
