Sommelier – Luxury Hotel & Resort

About the role

Four Seasons is seeking a talented and creative Sommelier to join its luxury resort team. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, you will lead the wine program, ensuring exceptional service and memorable guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Food & Beverage leadership to design and maintain wine lists.
• Recommend food and wine pairings and engage guests with personalized wine suggestions.
• Control costs through effective purchasing, inventory management, and cost‑control measures.
• Maintain a visible presence in the operation, promote positive public relations, and handle special guest requests with dedication.

Required profile

• Passion for delivering the highest standards of service.
• Certified wine and beverage education (WSET or equivalent).
• In‑depth knowledge of wine varieties, regions, and service techniques.
• Experience in luxury hotels or high‑end restaurant groups, preferably 1‑2 years in a similar position.
• Strong attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and ability to multitask.
• Team‑player attitude with a creative approach to wine program development.
