Training & Quality Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Training & Quality Manager to lead learning and quality initiatives at a luxury island resort in the Seychelles. The role is pivotal in maintaining Forbes Travel Guide and LQA standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement across all departments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage training and development programmes for every resort department.
• Conduct operational audits, quality reviews and inspections to ensure compliance with Forbes and LQA standards.
• Identify training needs, create targeted programmes and close capability gaps.
• Lead onboarding, induction and ongoing development for new and existing team members.
• Support the creation and revision of SOPs, operational manuals and service standards.
• Analyse guest feedback, quality metrics and training outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with department heads to embed a strong service culture and maintain operational consistency.
• Maintain accurate training records, certifications and development documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in learning & development, training or quality assurance within luxury hospitality.
• Hands‑on experience with Forbes Travel Guide and LQA standards.
• Experience in luxury resorts, remote islands or multicultural hospitality environments is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, coaching and presentation skills.
• Fluent English; additional languages (French, German, Italian, Russian, Arabic) are a strong advantage.
• Willingness to live and work in a remote island setting.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, HR, Training & Development or a related field preferred.
