Guest Service Agent (Arabic Speaking)

About the role

The Guest Service Agent will be the first point of contact for Arabic‑speaking guests at Raffles Seychelles, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience from arrival through departure. Working within the Front Office/Guest Relations team, the role combines front‑desk duties with personalized guest services.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests on arrival, manage check‑in, provide resort introductions and coordinate hand‑over to room staff.
• Handle all guest requests, complaints and special needs, ensuring prompt follow‑up and maximum satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Concierge, Butler, Housekeeping and other departments to arrange excursions, amenities and VIP preparations.
• Maintain and update guest profiles, create VIP records, and send pre‑arrival communications to guests and travel agents.
• Promote inter‑hotel sales, seasonal packages and loyalty programmes, and upsell onward bookings at other Raffles properties.
• Monitor guest feedback, track corrective actions and ensure repeat guests receive personalized recognition.
• Participate in briefings, training sessions and special projects as assigned by the Guest Relations Manager.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and preferably an additional language.
• Ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues, work calmly under pressure and maintain a professional appearance.
• Team‑oriented mindset with experience working in a multicultural environment.
• Minimum two years of Front Office or Guest Relations experience in a four‑ or five‑star hotel.
• Attention to detail, proactive problem‑solving and a commitment to delivering personalized service.
