Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

Raffles Seychelles is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team in delivering the brand’s high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction across its luxury villas and public areas. Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping, you will oversee daily operations, ensure rooms and amenities meet Raffles quality standards, and support the development of your staff. You will work in a dynamic environment with 86 luxurious villas and an award‑winning spa.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and schedule housekeeping staff to ensure timely cleaning and inspection of arrival and occupied villas.
• Maintain villa amenities, pantry supplies, and colleague buggies according to brand standards.
• Report and follow up on landscaping, maintenance, and any damage using the PMS system.
• Conduct regular room and public‑area inspections, complete checklists, and ensure compliance with LQA and brand guidelines.
• Deliver guest requests promptly and courteously, and manage laundry turnaround times.
• Organise daily briefings, training sessions, and maintain accurate room status records.
• Ensure health, safety and hygiene policies are adhered to throughout the department.

Required profile

• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Professional appearance and grooming.
• Strong interpersonal skills with keen attention to detail.
• Degree in Tourism or Hotel Management or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management systems (PMS) for reporting issues and room status.
