Bellman – Guest Services at Luxury Resort

About the role

Constance Ephelia is looking for a professional Bellman to be the first point of contact for guests arriving at our luxury resort on Mahé, Seychelles. You will play a key part in delivering a seamless and memorable experience, assisting with luggage, providing information, and supporting concierge services.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests upon arrival and handle luggage efficiently.
• Provide detailed information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
• Manage guest requests, special requirements, and concierge bookings such as restaurants, activities, and transport.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby and entrance area.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to resolve guest concerns promptly.
• Follow safety procedures and emergency protocols.
• Support the team during peak periods and special events.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a bell staff, porter, or similar guest‑service role.
• Excellent people skills and ability to communicate with guests from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong physical fitness and stamina for handling luggage and standing for long periods.
• Professional appearance and demeanor in line with luxury‑resort standards.

Required skills

• Knowledge of hotel operations and guest services.
• Organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Problem‑solving ability and flexibility.
• Multilingual ability is desirable, especially French.
• Familiarity with hotel management systems and concierge services is a plus.
• Valid driving licence is advantageous for local transport assistance.
