Cleaning Technician

About the role

Brites Management Services is recruiting a full-time Cleaning Technician in Seychelles. The role covers cleaning operations across tourism, hospitality and commercial environments, and includes supervising and leading a team of cleaning staff.

Key responsibilities

• Perform deep cleaning, routine cleaning and specialized cleaning tasks to the required quality and hygiene standards, using the right equipment, products and techniques.
• Inspect completed work, identify areas needing extra cleaning or maintenance, and recommend improvements to cleaning procedures and equipment.
• Supervise, allocate duties and train and mentor cleaning staff, ensuring efficient coverage and timely completion of tasks.
• Develop and follow cleaning processes and standard operating procedures, monitor schedules and carry out quality checks.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, correct handling and storage of chemicals, use of PPE and reporting of hazards, accidents and incidents.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and tools, monitor supplies and minimise wastage.

Required profile

• Relevant training or certification in Cleaning Services, Housekeeping, Hospitality, Facilities Management or a related field is an advantage.
• Proven experience as a Cleaning Technician, Supervisor, Team Leader or in a similar role.
• Previous experience supervising or leading a team is highly desirable.
• Experience in hospitality, tourism, hotels, resorts, commercial buildings or other high-standard environments is an advantage.

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of professional cleaning methods, equipment and chemicals.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.

What we offer

• Stated salary of KSHS 90,000.
• Travel and accommodation expenses covered by the client.
• No commission charged.
