Night Auditor

About the role

Constance Ephelia, a resort on the island of Mahé in Seychelles, is looking for a meticulous and organised Night Auditor to join its team. Working the night shift, the Night Auditor maintains the financial integrity of the resort and ensures smooth operations overnight, with attention to detail, numerical aptitude and independent work.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and balance daily revenue reports, including room charges, food and beverage transactions and miscellaneous expenses.
• Reconcile all guest accounts, checking charges, payments and adjustments.
• Process and reconcile credit card transactions and cash receipts against system records.
• Prepare detailed night audit reports and summaries for management review.
• Respond to guest requests and concerns during night hours while maintaining security and safety protocols.
• Perform system backups and complete data entry accurately and on time.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in guest accounts and financial records.
• Communicate with day shift staff about outstanding issues and keep sensitive information confidential.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a night auditor or in an equivalent hotel audit position.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision.
• Strong cash handling experience and understanding of financial procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving, judgement, organisation and time management skills.
• Proven customer service experience in hospitality and reliable attendance.
